founder + designer marinela doar has over a decade of experience in hospitality, multi-family, restaurant & bar, commercial, retail and residential design. she has conceptualized and designed everything from cocktail bars to commercial office spaces and everything in between.
she is a licensed realtor in the charleston metro area and provides a desirable value to her clients by being able to envision not just their future house, but their home. through her guidance in achieving your real estate goals, SIS takes the roll of envisioning the space you want through conceptual design and development creating a seamless partnership from day one to move in.
as a working mom and with family being the number one in her life, SIS was formed for creating a meaningful practice and being authentic to her design aesthetic, attracting the type of clients that are drawn to her style and want to trust her process of getting to know them on a soulful level.
born a california girl and raised in the pacific northwest, marinela moved from seattle to charleston, driving cross country to start a new chapter with her husband. they live on johns island with their son lucca and french bulldog biggie smalls. between finding the newest restaurant and cooking at home, her love for food rivals her love for design. when she’s not scheming her next meal, she’s planning her next trip, reading, or going on walks with her family.
